Content Development
Content is key in so many fields and in so many circumstances,
that
it is hard to understate its importance Our copyediting and content-development services are tailored precisely to your needs. You may need your latest business proposal reviewed or inserts for the next sales kit updated.
You may require catalog copy for your new spring line or a proofreader for your new manuscript. Whatever your project―we will work with you to ensure that every word works as hard as you
do. Our content services include, but are not limited to:
-
Proofreading: All good content needs a proofread. Let us be that extra set of eyes that dot the i's and crosses the t's. No one likes finding typos after something has already gone out. Especially your boss.
-
Copyediting: Unlike proofreading, copyediting involves making changes as opposed to corrections. Basic copyediting addresses style and flow,
word choice and sentence structure, consistency and voice. Deep editing―sometimes called content editing―addresses the ideas themselves, the document's structure, the pacing of the narrative, the logic of the
argument being made. Or you may need something in between.
-
Writing: Cover letters, reports, articles, press releases, newsletters, or marketing copy―these are just a few of the pieces
that we can produce for you. Projects can be big or small, one-offs or long-term, written for formal or casual audiences. Whether you need a quick tip sheet for clients, a newsletter article, or a press release―Modern
Parlance will produce results that work
for you.
